It was a gorgeous late summer Saturday.  As we drove up the long, tree-lined driveway and pulled up to the Women of the Well Ministry, it took my breath away. Like something from "Gone with the Wind," Deborah Lovett's home and wooded acreage opens its sprawling arms to women  who are longing for spiritual refreshment . . . and that is exactly what they receive!  Our women at Hope Church are still talking about that special day.   The WOW Advance is truly an unforgettable experience that  begins with a warm and personal welcome from Deborah and her staff.  The fragrance of rich coffee and breakfast delicacies continue to  enhance the "you are special" sensation, as you are ushered into the exquisite and cozy atmosphere of Deborah's living room.  Soon, sincere worship fills the air as WOW's anointed worship team leads the women in praise and worship.  Hearts are lifted and guests feel like they've come to the "Father's House" while enjoying the beautiful two-story window view overlooking  the lovely flower dotted lawn and majestic woods. Anointed times of ministry by Deborah Lovett and Nona Anderson include insightful Bible-based encouragement and uplifting exhortation.  (Both speakers have that  rare gift of speaking into hearts with a candid transparency that is unmistakably Spirit led and life changing.)  When you think your bucket is almost full ... following the morning session, you are invited to a Quiet Time, and Prayer Walk through the peaceful, gently windswept woods, complete with a  rustic prayer chapel. Following the inspiring prayer walk, a delicious, catered lunch  topped off with an elegant dessert.  By the end of the day, following the closing ministry session, there is personal ministry, worship and reflection time . . . testimonies of renewal and refreshing abound.  Women depart with warm hugs from Deborah and her staff... and every woman reluctantly leaves  a most memorable experience... forever changed by drinking the effervescent water of the well.
 
On a personal note ... I brought several Korean friends who so enjoyed the Advance, where nationality made absolutely no difference in the embracing "one in the spirit" environment.  They were indeed blessed.   Also, just a few weeks following the Advance, I experienced the loss of a lifetime best friend... the refreshing I received at WOW enabled me to walk through this time in His renewed mercy, hope and strength.   A sincere thank you to Deborah Lovett and her staff.  I heartily endorse and recommend the Women of the Well Advance to any ladies who long for spiritual refreshment in a most unique, incredibly hospitable and inspiring setting.
